The subtribe Oleinae, nom. nud. (tribe Oleeae, family Oleaceae) was published by E. Wallander and V. A. Albert (Wallander, E., and V. A. Albert. 2000. Phylogeny and classification of Oleaceae based on rps16 and trnL-F sequence data. American Journal of Botany 87: 1827-1841) without reference to the basionym. The correct citation (p. 1840 in the article) should be:

Basionym: Fam. Oleaceae Hoffmanns. & Link, Fl. Portug. 1: 62. 1 Sep 1809 (Oleinae), nom. cons.
